The purpose of the church is to save souls, edify the members, and glorify God by serving Him in our community. Our goal is to resemble as closely as possible the original church described in the New Testament. Our friendly Christian family is sincere in our desire to understand God’s will and demonstrate His love. Jesus died for His church, the bride of Christ (Ephesians 5:25-33). The church does not need man-made laws, creeds, or modes of worship other than what is given in the Holy Bible. It is possible today to be obedient to the will of Christ. Christians can resolve to restore the church to being the church of the New Testament (Acts 2:41-47). Our worship service will consist of songs, prayers, the Lord’s Supper and a biblically founded sermon by a minister. We attempt to make our worship reverent, respectful, and pleasing to God. We partake of the Lord’s Supper every first day of the week as described in 1 Corinthians 11:23-30 and Matthew 26:26-29. Our singing is acapella (without instruments, Ephesians 5:19) and we hope you feel comfortable joining us in every song. We do not expect our guests to contribute monetarily during the offering. We have five elders who the church elected that meet God’s qualifications set in the Bible (Titus 1:5-9). If you would like to study the Bible or have any questions, please let us know.
